How to Make this? Here is a step-by-step guide!

Lemon Pepper Chicken
(Bana's Way)

Prep time: 15 mins

Cooking time: 25 mins

​Ingredients:

​

Chicken: 

4 chicken breasts

1tsp black pepper

1 tsp salt 

 Pinch of flour 

2 eggs

Water

 4 tbsp bread crumbs

2 tsp olive oil

2 tsp butter 

 

Sauce: 

2 tsp olive oil

1 red onion

1 cup cooking cream

1 tsp Dijon mustard

1 tsp black pepper

1 tsp salt

½ tsp nutmeg

1 tsp lemon zest

3 tsp lemon juice

4 tbsp capers

2 tbsp parsley 

 

Extras: 

Serve with rice or pasta

  1. Using a hammer, start smashing the chicken breasts to make them tinner in order for them to cook through.

  2. Add salt and pepper to both sides of the chicken 

  3. Put a pinch of flour on the chicken

  4. In a bowl, mix eggs with a little bit of water

  5. In another bowl, put bread crumbs

  6. Dip the chicken in the egg, then dip it in the bread crumbs mix and make sure it is coated from all sides

  7. In a big pan, add olive oil and butter, then add the chicken on top

  8. Cook for 5 minutes on each side, and wait for it to get to a golden brown color.

  9. After putting the chicken aside, add olive oil and onion to the same pan.

  10. Add cooking cream and mix until it comes to a boil.

  11. Add the Dijon mustard, salt, pepper, and nutmeg, then mix.

  12. After done, add the lemon zest, lemon juice and capers.

  13. Add the chicken back into the pan so it can get more of the lemony flavor 

  14. Add parsley to the mix.

  15. Serve with pasta or rice, and enjoy!
