Serving size is a standard measurement like a cup or litres. It helps you visualize the amount of food you are consuming. there is often a misunderstanding that the serving size is the size recommended for you to eat, but that is usually not the case.
Explanation
People get serving size and portion size confused, and they often assume that they are the same thing. Portion size is the size of the meal you are eating, for example, eating 2 pancakes at home is a portion, while a track of 4 at a restaurant is also a portion. There are different portions for each place, and they may not be a standard everywhere.
